Avistrum Academy of Sorcery students are sorted at the beginning of their careers into one of four houses, each named after one of the four founders of Avistrum. They are:

Parador, symbolized by the phoenix
Enigmus, symbolized by the sphinx
Lobostro, symbolized by the wolf
Colubrae, symbolized by the dragon
