I am one of his students in Flagstaff Academy. I couldn’t believe this when I found out. I loved him like a second father. I am proud to have had a teacher so dedicated to his work and students. I am part of his LA and drama classes. He made every one laugh when he told a joke. And everyone cried in and out on December 9, 2o11.
We all love you and miss you Mr.Burton.
    Your loving student, Hailey.

I was never one of his students at Flagstaff Academy but I sure wanted to be. He is one of the coolest teachers you would’ve ever had. I was so upset about Mr. Burton, me and my friends were getting back from Art class when we saw a lot of middle school students crying, we all wondered what was going on but couldn’t figure it out! When we got to our lunch table we saw all the aids with tears in their eyes, THEN WE HAD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON! We asked all of them but they wouldn’t tell us, but then my friend Halie she saw her brother Morgan she went to ask him all he said was GO AWAY! So then she asked her friend Skylar and she said that Mr. Burton might have died!!! We all started crying then finally we found out it was true.

    Your friend,
    Ashlyn

    P.S. Love you Mr. Burton
