Thanks to all of our new and returning students who joined us for our annual term at OPUS 2006. Once again, the term was full of excitement and danger, and the students were the key to saving the wizarding world! Congratulations to our 2006 House Cup Champions, following the closest competition in Avistrum history, Parador house!

We are very pleased to announce that registration is now available for Avistrum’s Spring Term at OPUSFest 2006, May 19-21, 2006 (Google Calendar)! If you missed out on the adventure of The Medallion of Akpuch in 2005, you’ll want to be part of this year’s event! Register now at Mollyguard. We only have space for 100 students, so don’t delay!
The festival has moved this year. We will now be located at the Hyatt Regency DTC, 7800 East Tufts Avenue, Denver (Google Maps, MapQuest, Yahoo! Maps).

Hot on the heels of our Half-Blood Prince release party, we are pleased to announce special class sessions at the Aurora Borders Store at Parker and Arapahoe. We have the following two sessions:
There is space in each class for 40 students, and there is a $5 materials fee per student per session. To reserve a spot, send an owl to Headmaster Dowling.

Thank you to all of our new students for joining us at our 2005 term at OPUS. All of the faculty, staff, ghosts, and other residents of Avistrum Academy of Sorcery want to give a heartfelt welcome to our new students, who completed their first year HAWK exams and will be second years when they return in 2006. We also want to congratulate the new reigning House Cup Champions, Lobostro House!
Many strange things happened during the term. In fact, it was one of the more memorable terms in Avistrum history. If you missed out, read on to learn what transpired.
