Parador Fellowship is named after Pyramis Parador (1666-1777), one of the four founders of Avistrum. He was a Scottish wizard who came to the colonies in 1689. Educated in Scotland, Parador excelled at Charms and Defense Against Dark Magic. He originally came to the colonies to combat werewolves, which were rampant in New England at the time.
Parador was the youngest of the Avistrum founders, only 31 at the time the school was started. He served as Headmaster from 1707 until his retirement in 1769.
Parador prized courage above all else in his students, welcoming those who exhibited the trait ahead of all others. Paradors are also known for their integrity and tenacity.
The symbol of Parador is the phoenix, the bird who dies in a burst of flame, only to be reborn from the ashes.
Rowan Stacey is the Light for Parador Fellowship.
The current head of Parador House is Polonius Aberfoyle, Deputy Headmaster of Avistrum.
